Confirmation completes Baptism. The Holy Spirit comes in a new way, as he came on the apostles at Pentecost, to make us strong witnesses to Christ.
The bishop anoints the forehead with sacred chrism and says the words that seal us with the Holy Spirit. Like Baptism, it is given only once.
The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of the Lord.
Choose a confirmation saint: someone whose life speaks to you, whose name you take as a patron.
Choose a sponsor, and ask them in person.
